This NVR supports hard drives up to 10TB and offers 8CH recording and live view in up to 8MP/4K resolution at real-time 30fps. You can playback 8-channel at 1080p(30fps), 4-channel at 4MP(30fps), and 2-channel at 4K(30fps). It is compatible with all Amcrest WiFi and wired IP cameras and has limited compatibility with third-party brand compliant IP cameras.

The advanced H.265 compression technology allows for longer recording times and saves on storage space without compromising the UltraHD video quality. It also provides intelligent search, playback, and backup functions, including motion detection events and exact search functions accurate to one second.

This NVR supports AI features from AI IP cameras, although the availability depends on the camera model used. It can only support 2CH AI cameras at 4K@30fps and does not have built-in AI features. It conveniently connects to and manages all the POE IP cameras on your network directly through their Ethernet cables, providing ultimate ease and convenience in a home security system.

With a maximum 80Mbps incoming bandwidth, this NVR can record 8 cameras at 4K using H.264. By changing the default settings to H.265 and adjusting the bit rate to 1792 on each camera, it can record 8 cameras at 4K for maximum optimization.
