Amcrest 4K 16CH NVR - Supports 16 x 8MP/4K IP Cameras

Amcrest's NV4116-A2 16CH NVR is capable of supporting hard drives up to 10TB. It offers 16CH recording and live view in up to 8MP/4K resolution at a real-time 30fps. Playback options include 8-channel at 1080p(30fps), 4-channel at 4MP(30fps), and 2-channel at 4K(30fps). This NVR is compatible with all Amcrest WiFi and Wired IP cameras, and has limited compatibility with third-party brand compliant IP cameras.

The advanced H.265 compression technology used in this NVR allows for longer recording times by saving storage space. With H.265, your video is compressed without sacrificing any ultra HD video quality. Additionally, the NVR features intelligent search, playback, and backup functions that enhance ease of use and security. Examples include motion detection events and precise search functions that are accurate to one second.

AI features from AI IP cameras are supported, although availability depends on the camera model being used. This NVR only supports 2CH AI cameras at 4K@30fps. It does not have built-in AI features, but it can connect to and manage all POE IP cameras on your network through their Ethernet cables, providing ultimate ease and convenience in a home security system.

With a maximum incoming bandwidth of 80Mbps, this NVR can record 8 cameras at 4K using H.264. It can also record 8 cameras at 4K by changing the default settings from H.264 to H.265 and adjusting the bit rate to 1792 on each camera for maximum optimization. The package conveniently includes extras such as a USB mouse, network cable, and quick start guide.

To operate, this NVR requires a hard-wired connection directly to your router. It supports all Amcrest WiFi and Wired IP cameras, but does not include PoE ports or provide Power Over Ethernet.
