Amcrest 4K 16-Channel 8-Port PoE NVR, Supports up to 16 x 8MP IP Cameras, 10TB Hard Drive

The Amcrest NV4116E-A2 16CH NVR is equipped with 16CH (8 Port PoE) Recording & Live View in Up to 8MP/4K Resolution @ Real-Time 30fps. It supports a maximum of 10TB HDD and allows for playback of 8-Channels @1080p(30fps)/4-Channels @4MP(30fps)/2-Channels @4K(30fps). This NVR is compatible with all Amcrest WiFi and Wired IP cameras, as well as some third-party brand compliant IP cameras.

By utilizing advanced H.265 compression technology, the NVR reduces storage space requirements without compromising UltraHD video quality, resulting in longer recording times. Its intelligent search, playback, and backup functions provide enhanced ease of use and security, including motion detection event and exact search functions accurate to one second.

AI features are supported when using AI IP cameras, with the number of supported AI cameras depending on the camera model. However, the NVR itself does not have built-in AI features. It manages and connects to all POE IP cameras on the network through their ethernet cables, offering ultimate ease and convenience for a home security system.

With a maximum 80Mbps incoming bandwidth, the NVR records 8 cameras at 4K using H.264. To achieve maximum optimization, the default settings can be changed to H.265 and the bit rate adjusted to 1792 for each camera, enabling 8 camera recording at 4K. For systems requiring additional POE cameras, an additional POE switch is recommended (Amcrest Switch ASIN B0751K65V5).

This NVR must be directly connected to the router through a hard-wired connection. It supports all Amcrest WiFi and Wired IP cameras and includes a USB backup feature for added peace of mind. The system is CE & FCC certified and comes conveniently packaged with extras such as a USB mouse, network cable, and quick start guide with user manual.
