Amcrest 4K 8CH POE NVR - Supports 8 x 8MP/4K IP Cameras, 8-Channel Power Over Ethernet

The Amcrest NV4108E-A2 8CH POE NVR is designed to support hard drives up to 10TB while featuring 8CH recording and live view in up to 8MP/4K resolution at real-time 30fps. With playback capabilities of 8 channels at 1080p(30fps), 4 channels at 4MP(30fps), and 2 channels at 4K(30fps), this NVR is equipped to handle a wide range of surveillance needs. It also supports all Amcrest WiFi and Wired IP cameras and has limited compatibility with third-party brand compliant IP cameras.

This NVR features extra storage space due to advanced H.265 compression technology, allowing for longer recording times without sacrificing UltraHD video quality. Intelligent search, playback, and backup functions enhance the ease of use and security, including accurate motion detection events and exact search functions that are accurate to one second.

The NVR supports AI features from AI IP cameras, with support for up to 2CH AI cameras at 4K@30fps. It also connects to and manages all the POE IP cameras on your network directly through their ethernet cables for added convenience in a home security system.

With a maximum incoming bandwidth of 80Mbps, the NVR can record 8 cameras at 4K using H.264, or by changing default settings to H.265 and adjusting the bitrate to 1792 on each camera for maximum optimization. The package includes a USB mouse, network cable, and quick start guide for added convenience.

It’s important to note that this NVR requires a hard-wired connection directly to your router to operate and only works with Amcrest cameras/systems, as well as supporting POE cameras. The monitor used with this NVR needs to have HDMI compatibility and should be connected with HDMI directly to the monitor.
